  • 1 1/2 ounce cognac
  • 1 ounce lemon juice
  • 1 teaspoon sugar
  • 6 ounces Champagne
  • Combine cognac, sugar and lemon juice in shaker
  • Add ice and shake till chilled
  • Pour into champagne flute
  • Pour champagne over cognac concoction
  • Garnish with lemon curl
